Brandon Jennings to Pistons, Brandon Knight to Milwaukee

Former Buck Brandon Jennings is headed to Detroit
There have already been many moves in the NBA offseason, but one of the final big names to move is headed to Detroit. Brandon Jennings was part of a sign-and-trade that will send him to Detroit on a three-year, around $25 million deal. The Bucks will receive guard Brandon Knight, big man Viacheslav Kravtsov, and forward Khris Middleton from the Pistons.

Detroit also added an All-Star big man in Josh Smith from the Atlanta Hawks through free agency. Detroit is finally giving it's fans something to be excited about. Don't expect them to be a top team in the Eastern Conference, but these additions should definitely bolster their roster enough to make the playoffs, and once you make the playoffs, anything can happen.

The Detroit Pistons are a young team featuring Josh Smith, Brandon Jennings (Who is only 23 by the way), Greg Monroe, and promising big man Andre Drummond. If their 2013 draft pick in Peyton Siva, and key pieces like Rodney Stuckey and Will Bynum can mature and improve, this could be a promising young team for a few years to come, but they are still in need of one more core, star player to put this team into title contention. The Pistons will be an exciting playoff team, but they probably won't catch anyone off guard or really make any threat towards an NBA Title without some more work.
